Leadership
Teddy Labonte, Owner
Teddy grew up in the trade, working as a carpenter under another contractor through his late teens and early twenties before launching Hemlock Decks & Porches with his father in November 2012.
He brings a unique design background that includes experience in plastics, machine work, and extrusion processes, and that technical foundation informs how the company approaches every project. Teddy’s eye for detail and his commitment to quality set the standard the whole team works to meet.

Teddy launched Hemlock Decks & Porches alongside his father, building the company on the values that still guide it today.
What started as a general contracting operation grew and refined its focus over the years, settling into the decks, porches, and outdoor living work the team does best. That family beginning remains at the heart of how the company runs.
Our Crew
Behind every finished deck and porch is a skilled crew and an in-house engineer that takes pride in the details. Our carpenters, framers, and installers bring years of combined experience to each project, and many hold certifications and training that keep them at the top of their trade. As a Trex Platinum Installer and a TimberTech Gold Pro, our team meets strict installation standards and knows premium materials inside and out.
From the first cut to the final fastener, our crew treats your property with respect, keeps the job site clean and safe, and builds outdoor spaces meant to last.
Our Engineering and Design Team
Our in-house engineer handles structural planning and load calculations directly, so every project meets local building codes and performs the way it should.
Paired with our 3D design and rendering capabilities, this means you see exactly what your finished space will look like before we break ground, and the plans are solid before the first board goes down.
